1. Place a piece of paper against a wall.

2. Have your child stand on the paper with their heel against the wall.

3. Mark the longest point of the foot.

4. Measure the distance between the wall and the mark. The number you get is your foot size (not your shoe size, as standard shoe sizing may be misleading)

5. Take your foot size (the number you got when measuring both of your feet) then add 5 to 12 mm (the ideal leeway). The total is the final number you are looking for.
